Now for those of you familiar with GMX email, it's free just like many others, but you get up to 10 email addresses with your account. The thing is, if you set them all up they automatically come straight to your main Inbox.
Wouldn't this be great for Gmail?
It isn't automatic, but you can link all of your Gmail accounts to one single account!
First you'll want to pick your primary account. Let's say this is gmailaccountmain@gmail.com (please note that all emails in this post are only used as an example).
Then you have three other accounts: gmailaccount1, gmailaccount2, gmailaccount3.
Sign into gmailaccount1 and go into your Settings (top right of the screen) then select Forwarding and POP/IMAP. Choose to "Forward a copy of incoming mail" and you'll insert your main account gmailaccountmain@gmail.com and select in the dropdown box to the right of this whether you want to keep, archive, or delete the emails after being forwarded. Click the "Save Changes" button at the bottom, and repeat this process for gmailaccount2 and gmailaccount3.
Log in to gmailaccountmain@gmail.com and open up the Settings, then click on Accounts. You'll see a section that says "Send mail as:" and a link to "Add another email address" -- click this link. Verify your name, then add the gmailaccount1. Click "Next Step" and then you should receive an email (already forwarded to you because you set it up to forward already) with a link to verify what you just did. Click that link, then repeat process for your other Gmail accounts.
You can now send and receive email from all of your email accounts in one single Gmail inbox! ;D
You can set up filters to separate the emails based on which email they were sent to if you'd like, but that is all another post for another day. Enjoy!
