How do you get referrals? The two best two ways to get referrals are simply: placing your referral link and love for SimpleGPT in other Forums and Word of Mouth from a trusted SimpleGPT member to friends and family. Where is my referral link? Located on SimpleGPT is the Refer a Member section, which provides you with your referral link, and three banners. It also shows that you will earn you 15% of your level 1 referrals earnings and you will earn 5% of your level 2 referrals earnings!
Forums
The first place everybody goes to trying to get referrals are forums. Forums are a great place to get referrals, if you know what you are doing. There are different techniques to gaining referals in Forums and I will outline the steps for you here.
- Find a large forum using big-boards.com or use any of the forums that you are already members of.
- When you pick a forum, find one that people will have an interest in doing SimpleGPT. Gaming forums, Mom forums, military wives forums, college student forums, and age appropriate (males/females 15 to 30) forums will give you the best return.
- Create an account, and put SimpleGPT in your signature. Example signature: I've made X amount of dollars on SimpleGPT, while having loads of fun! Earn some Extra cash at www.SimpleGPT! Add the dollar amount you have earned and your referral link.
- If the forum uses BBCode, which most do: Type
[url=http://www.SimpleGPT.com/members/register.php?ref=______]SimpleGPT[/url]
Where the _____ is should be your username. Now, you will have a clickable link with your ID in it. - Make posts, not spam, and be an active member throughout the forum.
- If you can, start a topic in the appropriate forum about SimpleGPT. Try to cram a lot of positive features into a small topic. Here is an example of a post that I made on a sample forum. This is not a referral link for myself, but for SimpleGPT. This post though gives you an idea of what you can create to get people interested in SimpleGPT.
- Make sure that you read the rules of the forums before you post your referral link or other posts stealing their members and getting them to be your referral.
- The more active you are in a forum, without spamming, the more credibility you will have on that forum. People are more likely to want to be your referral and join SimpleGPT when they know you. Trust is built over time. People are looking for the next big thing and they want to know SimpleGPT is professional, legit, real, pays, and has more giveaways and contests then any other GPT. Make them see that.
Word of Mouth
More people have joined SimpleGPT due to word of mouth than any other reason. This is your best way to gain a mass number of referrals. Tell everyone you know what SimpleGPT is, what SimpleGPT has done for you, what SimpleGPT has given you, and what the features are that make SimpleGPT unique, different and successful. In telling people about SimpleGPT be mindful that various people will use SimpleGPT for different things. Besides gaining money through offers, we have PTC, contests for all members, the ability to win and earn cash and prizes. It is not hard to rave about SimpleGPT. Who do you tell?
- Family
- Friends
- Co-workers
- Neighbors
- Classmates
- Friends on Myspace or Facebook or any Social Networking Site
Other Creative Ways to Get Referrals That Work
Website or Blog
- If you have a website or blog, put a SimpleGPT banner on, or a text link. Even if your site has low traffic, you will get some referrals from it.
- Manual traffic exchanges are a great way to advertise your referral link. For those of you that don't know what they are, you basically view other people's sites and get yours seen in return. They can quickly deliver mass traffic. Just google "manual traffic exchange."
- There are a number of PTC or referral generator sites that can be used, but in my experience this would be the last thing to do as you will only get one-time referrals rather than those that will continue coming to SimpleGPT to make money.
Flyers
- Create SimpleGPT referral flyers that you can place in various businesses, school/college locations, and other areas to generate referrals for you. You can create flyers that state what SimpleGPT is and include your ID. You can also place small tear off sections at the bottom so people can take your referral link with them.
- Tailor these flyers for the areas that you put them. For example, if you are a college student, place a flyer up that states, "Need extra money for books? Join SimpleGPT."
Business Cards
- Use Vistaprint.com and get SimpleGPT business cards made for yourself with your unique ID on them.
- Place these cards everywhere, near ATMs, fast-food drive-thru windows, apartment complexes, car doors, school bulletin boards, dorm room doors, at businesses, libraries, coffee shops, internet cafe's, grocery stores, mall, shopping areas, or anywhere you think you will get a referral.
- Give them to people personally who fit the profile of a SimpleGPT user, if you the time, and explain to them why they should join.
Ebay, Ecrater, Etsy, Etc.
- If you sell on ebay, the winner of your auction is a person that buys and spends money every single day. Put your business card or one of your flyers describing what SimpleGPT is with your referral link in the packaging and ship it out.
Refer a Member Tab
- Located on SimpleGPT is the Recruit section, which provides you with your referral link, and nine banners.
Keeping up with your Referrals
- I highly reccommend keeping up with your referrals depending on who they are and where they came from. It is in your best interest, if possible, to keep track of your referrals. Those referrals that you do know, you can help them as they join SimpleGPTto make you even more money. You can also direct them to the SimpleGPT forum's Offer Discussion thread, which has a number of resources for offer completion.
Keeping Everyone Happy and Here
- SimpleGPT exists for the members and if it was not for the members, there would be no SimpleGPT. However, it isn't just the members and our helpful community that makes SimpleGPT what it is. SimpleGPT is fortunate to have an owner, Doug, who actually care about their members, listen to your suggestions and take pride in what they do. They constantly work for the members to give them everything they can. They are not selfish, nor are they out of the reach of the members. The moderating staff are top notch and always available to help. The community as stated above is the best I have ever seen, active, supportive, fun, helpful and full of life. SimpleGPT is growing larger, SimpleGPT is growing stronger, and SimpleGPT is a force to reckon with in this industry. We are all here to bring people in. We exist to be the best GPT there is. I know that as SimpleGPT consisently adds more offers, you will have more ways to advance your status, and you will have more opportunities/contests to win money/prizes and earn money. In order for us to all have referrals and a site to come to, we all have to do our part. I pledge to do mine. SimpleGPT will be here for you to come to.
